Kimberley Dynamiters September Player of the Month: Chase Gedny

The Kimberley Dynamiters named captain Chase Gedny their September Player of the Month prior to puck drop on Saturday October 6th.

"It's awesome," Gedny said about receiving the recognition. "It's a pretty big honour. I couldn't have done it without my linemates and the rest of the team."

During eight games in September Gedny scored six goals and five assists, including one short handed goal, one power play goal, and one game winning goal.

"Chase had a great September." Head coach and general manager Derek Stuart said. "He started off with a great month.

"He also led the way in the room, in practice, and off the ice. It was very deserving for him in many ways."

Gedny said that he credits his success to bounces going his way, along with hard work.

The Dynamiters head on the road to Castlegar this Friday, and then return home for a recreation of the 2018 KIJHL Finals with the Revelstoke Grizzlies.
