The Nitro’s Night in Kimberley Blog has been covering the
Kimberley Dynamiters, and the KIJHL since July 2013. The blog has provided game
preview infographics, game reviews, stats analysis (i.e. clutch scoring and
power rankings), past nitro’s and much more.
Recently a Nitro’s Night in Kimberley Podcast was launched,
with the same goals: covering the Dynamiters, the Eddie Mountain Division
(Kimberley, Golden, Fernie, Creston, and Invermere), and the KIJHL.
Audience
At it’s start, the blog averaged about 1,700 views per
month. The blog now averages over 17,000 views per month.
The podcast, in it’s infancy, has attracted 60+ listens to
each episode.
Readers and listeners are hockey fans from BC and southern
Alberta. More specifically, they are fans of the team, and then family and
friends of the players.
