The Kimberley Dynamiters named Brandt Bertoia as their regular season February Player of the Month. In five games, Bertoia scored six goals and two assists, while be named the teams star of the game twice.
"In February he was our best player. He is arguably one of our best players since the Christmas break. He was a key factor in our win in Beaver Valley and the win before that. He's been excellent since Christmas." Said head coach and general manager Derek Stuart.
Bertoia said after receiving the award, that he didn't think he was the first choice: "It was an honour that could have gone to lots of other guys on the team"
