Dynamiters lose first game of season, 6-2, to Golden Rockets

The Dynamiters undefeated streak came to a halt as HC Bancks nightmare came true, the Golden Rockets empty arena (compared to Kimberley), left the Dynamiters out of place, and with their first loss of the season.

Some fans have pointed to the flash mob that happened earlier in the day, as a reason for the loss. I point to the intense defensive effort put out the night before against Summerland, because as this game wore on, the more tired the team seemed.

1st
The Rockets opened the scoring, but the Dynamiters were quick to respond on the Power Play, but no one else than Richter (he always seems to score on the PP). The score was 1-1, and the shots were even at 6 a piece.

2nd
The wheels began to fall off for an exhausted team, and a worn out Brouwer (who has played every game thus far this season), as undisciplined penalties began to pile up (I'll admit, most were offsetting with Rockets going to the box as well). Prevost even dropped the gloves. The Rockets scored two goals, and took a 3-1 lead into the third.

3rd
The Rockets began running up the score, as they potted two quick goals before the mid point of the third. Haase potted a goal in the third, but it was too little too late. Rockets iced the cake with an EN goal, and handed the Dynamiters their first loss of the season.

Nitro's Player of the Game
Austin Hancherow. Named the star of the game by the KIJHL, had an A in the game.

Honorable Mentions
Jason Richter - PP goal
Keenan Haase - G
Coy Prevost - First Dynamiter (I believe) to drop the gloves
