The goal here is to figure out who the KIJHL's clutch scorer is, that is scoring big goals and helpers when they count, to differentiate them from the League Leaders.
Here is the formula:
- PPG - 2 points per PPG scored
- PPA - 1 point per Power Play Assist
- SHG - 2 points per SHG
- SHA - 1 point per Shorthanded Assist
- GWG - 2 points per GWG
Add up each of those categories for a total score, and the highest total score is the leading clutch scorer. (I should note, this stat output is only as good as the statistic keeping, which I know is a difficult job. For example, the Kimberley Dynamiters have won five games in regulation, but only three players have scored game winning goals, according to the stats).
Since we are early on the season, there isn't much of a statistical spread that will start happening as the season progresses. But right now, these are the top 11 (because Boyle and Lane are tied) clutch scorers.

# | PLAYER | Team | PPGx2 | PPAx1 | SHGx2 | SHAx2 | GWx2 | TOTAL |
1 | Rainer Glimpel | Osoyoos Coyotes | 2 | 2 | 4 | 0 | 4 | 12 |
2 | Colten Braid | Osoyoos Coyotes | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 8 |
3 | Luc Gradisar | Osoyoos Coyotes | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 8 |
4 | Devan Suidy | 100 Mile House Wranglers | 4 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 6 |
5 | Braden Hughes | Chase Heat | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
6 | Braeden Allkins | Golden Rockets | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
7 | Dillon Bogart | Spokane Braves | 4 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
8 | Felix Larouche | Kamloops Storm | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
9 | Jordan Passmore | Chase Heat | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 6 |
10 | Kaleb Boyle | Chase Heat | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 5 |
11 | Lincoln Lane | Grand Forks Border Bruins | 0 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 2 | 5 |
So as we can see, this shuffles around the League Leaders. Just a couple of examples, Braden Hughes, Felix Larouche, Jordan Passmore rank in the 5th-9th spot, but are actually ranked 38th, 28th, 32nd, respectively in League Leaders. Kaleb Boyle is 10th here, and 48th in League Leaders.
However, I know Coy Prevost of the Kimberley Dynamiters would have made this list, if the GWG he scored was recorded. He has 1 PPG (2 points), 1 PPA (1 point) and the GWG (2 points), he would have been tied for 10th.
