The Kimberley Dynamiters and Creston Valley Thunder Cats face off for the second Tuesday in a row. The Nitro's won the first preseason game 7-5 against the Cats, the Cats have since gone on two win two of there other three preseason games. The Nitro's have not played since then.
It is expected that the Nitro's will ice a team closer to their opening day lineup.
Head coach and general manager Derek Stuart said, "there is a very good chance that the players that play tonight will be in the regular season opener on Friday."
A couple of the veterans that played previously against the Cats may sit this game out, but it is all a game time decision, and depends on who the coaching staff wants to see before the season opens on Friday.
The main hope for tonight is to get the players closer to being game ready.
Tonight's game starts at 7:30pm at the Kimberley Civic Centre. Then the season opener is against the Columbia Valley Rockies on Friday at the Civic Centre at 7:30pm.
