Both captains, Weimer and Bennato received standing ovations. The arena erupted during the ceremonial puck drop for the Ratcliff family.
Here are just a couple of my favourite moments:
- My favourite goal, outside of Bennato’s and Klingspohn’s hat trick, was Jeff Brown’s. He scored 5th goal for the White Team, and you could tell after he scored his goal, the glory days (if you want to call them that) just seemed to come back during the goal celebration.
- Buckley really appeared to still get under players skin on the opposing team, frequently stealing the puck from Weimer.
- As a parent, somehow magically having two B104 shirts land on my kids laps, made parenting easy.
- Listening to the past Dynamiter fans behind me, recalling their favourite moments.
- The unbelievable goaltending by Cam Dodd, he wasn’t just trying to stop the puck, he was attacking it!
