1st
Rota opened the scoring early for the Dynamiters. Mallard added to the lead, and so did Wallace with 19 seconds left. Despite both teams having a 5-3 opportunity, neither were able to score, the PK for both teams were looking good. The Dynamiters took a games worth of shots (they would actually have more shots this period than the Rockies had all game), as they led in shots 20-7, and 3-0 on the scoreboard.
2nd
Trevor Van Steinburg continued the Dynamiters scoring ways. The Rockies showed signs of life when they scored on a broken play and made it 4-1. But then Saretsky scored two in a row, one he cleaned up the garbage and the other he scored short-handed. Kinnon was given a 10-minute misconduct that I have no reason why it was called, but he was excused from the ice for the remainder of the period. The Dynamiters outshot the Rockies 10-6 this period while holding onto a 6-1 lead.
3rd
Tyler Van Steinburg got creative with the puck and through it off the back boards from the point, and it bounced onto the stick of Rosolowsky who deposited the puck for a 7-1 lead. Haase then buried another rebound for an 8-1 lead. The Dynamiters controlled play again, outshooting the Rockies 15-4.
Nitro's Player of the Game
Braden Saretsky. His back to back goals deflated any hope that the Rockies had.
