The Kimberley Dynamiters have signed forward Cooper Page (98). The product from Calgary, AB, played this and last season with the Okotoks Oilers (AJHL). In 79 games with the Oilers he scored 15 goals and 14 assists.
Page was traded to the Calgary Mustangs (AJHL) earlier but chose not to report and join the Kimberley Dynamiters instead.
"I coached him in Okotoks last year, the relationship was already there and built." Head coach and general manager Derek Stuart said.
"He is a hard nosed player that works extremely hard. He is a complete player. He has the skill to contribute offensively and play on the power play, if needed.
"He is also very responsible defensively and excels on the penalty kill. He can play both ends of the rink. He is very tenacious and physical, and fits into our mould of being hard to play against."
Stuart added, "we were not actively looking. But when a player of Page's ability came, it was a great opportunity to improve our team."
