KIJHL Clutch Scorers: September 2016

Before we get into it, let's review the stats breakdown.
  • 2 points for every PPG
  • 1 point for every PPA
  • 2 points for every SHG
  • 1 point for every SHA
  • 2 points for every GWG*
The total is then counted and ordered from highest to lowest.

* = GWG are sometimes poorly tracked and therefore this ranking system is flawed.

While the overall league leading point getters may correlate with this list, the goal is to capture which players score at key moments: on the PP, the dagger on the PK, or notching the GWG.

Observations of the first Clutch Scoring
  • Defencemen are #1 & #2. Osoyoos Coyotes Daniel Stone is #1 followed closely by Pat Brady of the Chase Heat. Both have been efficient on the PP and notching GW's
  • '99 on the list: Brody Dale from Kelowna Chiefs; Owen Reith from Princeton Posse; Dean Whitcomb from North Okanagan Knights
  • This list is only 20 players this go around as there was a natural cut-off.
