Head Coach Jerry Bancks announced his retirement,
read an excellent article written by the Bulletin's Taylor Rocca.
Every time I have been at the awards banquet, you can't help but see how much he cares about the players as human beings - becoming future husbands, fathers, and contributors to society.
During this last awards banquet, while not officially a retirement announcement, it felt like it for Bancks.

It was all capped off with a standing ovation (that he was surprised to receive) from everyone in attendance. He has done a lot, not just for the players, but for the community of Kimberley as well.
