Scott Niedermayer inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame

Congratulations to local Cranbrook boy, Scott Niedermayer for being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Scott played midget hockey in Cranbrook, and in 1988-89, he led his team with 55 goals and 92 points as an offensive defenceman. He then went on to be an all-star in the WHL, and then became an elite NHL defenceman winning the Norris Trophy, Conn Smythe, the Stanely Cup (4 times) and Olympic gold (twice).
