Owen is a defenseman that played for the Nitro's in 2011-12. He played in 47 games that season scoring 21 helpers and one goal. He also added two helpers in 13 playoff games.
This year Owen played for the La Ronge Ice Wolves. He played in 53 games, scoring one goal and four assists. The season prior he won the most improved player for the team in 2012-13.
