Alright, this is my first time trying this and I sure hope it works. I have created a Google Calendar for the Kimberley Dynamiters home games. You should be able to grab the link below and add it to your yahoo, gmail, or outlook calendar as a shared calendar. This way you know when the home games are!
The links are as follows:

KIJHL Alumni Team on NHL 13
So I have been bachelor-ing it while my family has been away, which
usually means I do nerdy things. So I
have been busy searching through my NHL 13 and creating a custom team out of
KIJHL Alumni that were in the game. I
then simulated this team through an NHL, AHL and a WHL season.
This was the roster that I pieced together after sifting through the
KIJHL Alumni page, Wikipedia, Internet Hockey Database, and every KIJHL teamswebsite that listed Alumni.

A Successful Camp
All the reports I have heard about this past weekend's Nitro's camp have been fantastic. There was a total of 69 individuals that showed up to the camp to show off their talent. When I read the news article that there were a few graduates of the Nitro's there, I was immediately taken back to when I became a Nitro's fan and they made a push to the second round during their 80th season (yes, oh so long ago. I admit I am a new fan, but I love the team) and how I was watching them play Fernie down in the series 3-2, and in the 3rd trailing by 2, to eventually tie the game and win in double OT. It was an awesome game to be at.
Relive the crowds reaction here (and this is why I love this town and this team):

Nitros sign defenceman from Yukon
My daughter Charlie will probably have a new favourite player on the Dynamiters this year, Charlie Dagostin (@yukon_charlie - must admit this is unverified). Charlie is a 6'1" defenceman out of the Yukon and just recently signed with the Nitros. When he was 16 he represented Canada at the International Summer Challenge in Philadelphia, and has represented the Yukon at the Canada Winter Games.
Charlie says that this was "a pleasant surprise" to play of the Nitros and that this offer was "kind of out of nowhere, and I wasn't really expecting anything like that to happen."
Welcome to Kimberley Charlie!

Kimberley Dynamiter Golf Tournament
Well, I am not very good at golf, so this event scares me. But the Kimberley Dynamiters are hosting their first annual golf tournament on September 21. Registration started on July 25, so sign up now at www.kimberleydynamiters.com/golf to enjoy 9-holes at the Bootleg Gap Golf Course, a BBQ dinner, and a ticket to the game against Fernie Ghostriders that night. Best part is it is only $60, sweet deal.
